Covid 19 pandemisinin ruh sağlığı ve psikiyatri hemşireliği uzmanlığına etkisi

GİRİŞ ve AMAÇ: Pandemi ile uzaktan eğitime geçilmiş olması ve fiziksel sınırlılık önlemleri lisansüstü eğitimde tez süreçlerini etkilemiştir. Toplum ruh sağlığının korunması ve iyileştirilmesinde rolleri olan ruh sağlığı ve psikiyatri hemşirelerinin, pandeminin getirdiği gelişim ve değişimlere uyum sağlaması kriz yönetimi ve pandeminin uzun dönem etkileri açısından önem taşımaktadır. Bilimsel sonuçlara dayalı hemşirelik bakımı için lisansüstü tezler önemli kanıtlar oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada, ruh sağlığı ve psikiyatri hemşireliği lisansüstü tezlerinin pandeminin özel koşullarına uyumları incelenmiştir. Araştırmaların tipi, veri toplama yöntemleri, girişimleri ve pandeminin tez konusuna yansımaları değerlendirilmiştir.
YÖNTEM ve GEREÇLER: Tanımlayıcı tipteki araştırmada doküman incelemesi yöntemi ile Yüksek Öğretim Kurulu Başkanlığı Tez Merkezi veri tabanında lisansüstü tezler 05.09.2022 tarihinde taranmıştır. Ruh Sağlığı ve Hastalıkları Hemşireliği, Ruh Sağlığı ve Psikiyatri Hemşireliği, Psikiyatri Hemşireliği anabilim dallarında 2020-2022 yılları arasında tamamlanmış, izinli, onaylı toplam 107 tez incelenmiş, dâhil olma kriterlerini karşılayan 62 tez araştırmaya dahil edilmiştir.
BULGULAR: Araştırmaya dâhil edilen tezlerin beşi doktora tezidir. Tezlerin %75.8’inin tanımlayıcı, tanımlayıcı- kesitsel, tanımlayıcı- ilişkisel tipte olduğu, %51.6’sında verilerin yüz yüze görüşme ile elde edildiği, örneklem grubunun %27.4 oranında hemşire- sağlık çalışanı olduğu belirlenmiştir. Covid-19 tanılı hastalarla ve bakım veren hemşireler ile araştırmaların yapıldığı saptanmıştır.
TARTIŞMA ve SONUÇ: Yüksek lisans tezlerinde tanımlayıcı, tanımlayıcı- kesitsel, tanımlayıcı- ilişkisel tipte araştırmaların ağırlıkta olduğu, bu durumun pandemi öncesinde de benzer olduğu belirlenmiştir. Deneysel ve yarı deneysel tezlerde uzaktan ve hibrit müdahale programları, telepsikiyatri/tele ruh sağlığı uygulamalarının önemini göstermiştir. Verilerin sıklıkla yüz yüze elde edildiği, müdahale programlarında uzaktan ve hibrit yöntemlerden yararlanıldığı, pandeminin tez konularında yer aldığı belirlenmiştir.

The effect of the covid 19 pandemic on mental health and psychiatric nursing speciality

INTRODUCTION: The fact that distance education has been switched to with the pandemic and physical limitation measures have affected the thesis processes in postgraduate education. It is important for mental health and psychiatric nurses, who have roles in protecting and improving community mental health,to adapt to the developments and changes brought about by the pandemic in terms of crisis management and the long-term effects of the pandemic.Postgraduate dissertations for nursing care based on scientific results constitute important evidence.In the research, the adaptation of mental health and psychiatric nursing postgraduate dissertations to the special conditions of the pandemic was examined.The type of research,data collection methods,interventions and the reflections of the pandemic on the dissertation topic were evaluated.
METHODS: In the descriptive type of research, the postgraduate dissertations were scanned on September05,2022at the Council of Higher Education Theses Center using the document review method. A total of 107dissertations completed between 2020-2022in the departments of Mental Health and Diseases Nursing, Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, open access, approved were examined,62dissertations that meet the inclusion criteria were included in the research.
RESULTS: Five of the dissertations included in the research are doctoral dissertations.It was determined that75.8%of the dissertations were descriptive,descriptive-cross-sectional,descriptive-relational type,51.6%of the data were obtained by face-to-face interview,27.4%of the sample group were nurses and health workers. It has been determined that research has been conducted with patients who are diagnosied with Covid-19and nursing nurses.
DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION: It has been determined that descriptive, descriptive- cross-sectional, descriptive- relational type of research is intensive in master degree dissertations, and this situation was similar before the pandemic. In experimental and semi-experimental dissertations, distance and hybrid intervention programs have shown the importance of telepsychiatry/telementalhealth applications.It has been determined that the data are often obtained face-to-face, distance and hybrid methods are used in intervention programs,and the pandemic is included in the dissertations topics.
